Don't forget to create a directory (NOTa link) called monitor, in home/e-smith/files/primary/files

Just a thought, for me creating a directory under the primary ibay would allow anyone on the internet or whatever the access setting you have to view the directory and some information that was recorded might not be best accessable by anyone.

Not really, since this directory is not web accessible.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean because directories that I have created under the primary ibay have been visable to the internet

well, then you have created web accessible directories.
The one above points to /home/e-smith/files/primary/files/monitor
not to /home/e-smith/files/primary/html/monitor

Hi Guys,

There is no rule that you must create a link in /primary/files.   It's just a simple recommendation to make it easy.  You could, for example create another (private) I-Bay and put a link in the /{I-bay-name}/htlml folder for that I-Bay.  It really doesn't matter where the link is as long as it allows you to access the voice data.


Best
