In an attempt to complete an

Code: [Select]

yum upgrade several errors were produced.

The first error was

Code: [Select]

'no public key for perl'
I then followed these instructions:   http://bugs.contribs.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3191

but there was another error that

Code: [Select]

Error: Missing Dependency: whiptail is needed by package e-smith-base
so i then followed these instructions:http://bugs.contribs.org/show_bug.cgi?id=4491

but after reboot - the server was not accessable and there was no internet for yum packages.

have not been able to fix and there is no access to internet through the network BUT when logging in as admin and testing internet connection there it says ok - can connect to contribs.org.

can ping other boxes on the network and other boxes are able to ping the server

seems like there may be something easy to fix? but how?
how can i revive the server without losing everything??
