[Errno -1] Header is not complete

[Errno -1] Header is not complete

We have been getting this error message for over two weeks now [Errno -1] Header is not complete. Can anyone shed any light i have searched the forums but none of the fixes worked.

When do you receive this error? Where do you observe it? Is there any action that is triggering it? We need a little more detail as we have no crystal ball.

You need to try
yum clean all

(watch the case & spelling)

Sorry a typo did Yum clean All then Yum update but still fails at the first file. Could the fault be with the file php-mysql-4.3.9-3.22.15.i386.rpm as that's the only file tried on all the mirrors.

Once again all commands are lowercase, are you sure you executed them in lowercase (you state again you are using a opening capital again).

Do you have a web proxy between your server and the Internet? Might your ISP have added a web proxy?

What happens when you do this from the command line?

wget \
http://smemirror.fullnet.co.uk/releases/7/smeupdates/i386/RPMS\/php-mysql4.3.9-3.22.15.i386.rpm

We are not behind a proxy server and can get to and see the file at http://smemirror.fullnet.co.uk/releases/7/smeupdates/i386/RPMS but yum does not want to down load it nor is wget able to get the file. Thanks for all your help with this.

sorry, my bad.. there's a typo, it should be:

once you got it on your server, intall it with

yum localinstall php-mysql-4.3.9-3.22.15.i386.rpm
