Gallery migrate from 1x to 2x

Hello all,

We have just migrate our SME Server from 7.1 to 7.4 on a new server.

We have lot of photo on gallery 1.4 on SME 7.1.

Is there a way we can migrate the photo albums to SME 7.4 running Gallery2.

I guess you can but there is not much SME Server specific to this so I think you are better of with this: http://codex.gallery2.org/Gallery2:migration

Hi, I migrated many gallery1 to gallery2. The best option as cactus point out is to visit the gallery website.
A hint: If you installed gallery using the contrib, be carefull not to remove it before a full backup.
The rest is easy, gallery2 requires mysql, you can install it, enable the plugin that migrates from version 1 and tell it where the old gallery is.
