I have an SME 7.4 server that I am running and have an issue that I hope I can do
I need to be able to give several users and or systems on my network access to the server
for E-Mail but not to the Internet.
I have been able to setup several users with a static IP address but no Gateway Address
and this works to allow the user access to another Linux/Samba server and the Ibay shares
on the SME server but gives them no access outside the LAN.
I tested one of these connections with an active E-Mail account and the workstation could not
access the E-mail server with no Gateway or DNS IP address.
The Goal is to allow a user on a system to utillitize E-Mail but be blocked from the Web
