Topic: VPN problem with Vista

Hi there,

I have been using SME for months without problems - including VPN in Vista and XP. For about a week, none of my Vista users can connect anymore. It hangs at "checking Username and Password" and then throws an error 806.

Funny bits:

• I tried to disable all the Firewalls I could find - still doesn't connect
• Vista connects to the VPN when already connected to the local network - good but useless 
• I haven't changed anything anywhere AFAIK - VPN settings are "by default" (it was working this way before)
• I can connect from XP or Linux

From the above, it looks like a wonderful update from Redmond, but I was wondering if someone came across the same problem... and has an idea what to do about that?
