I have tried looking for instructions on how to upgrade my E-Smith 7.4 apache from 2.0x to 2.2x but have not found anything.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
thanks

why do you need to do so?
anyway, to upgrade apache you'd have to find suitable rpms (for centos4.8 ) and, of course, once upgrading you'll be on your own.

Apache 2.0 has a limitation on large files and I have a need for presenting files greater than 2 gigs. E-Smith 8.x isn't in production yet and i am unable to do an upgrade due to the added contribs I have on my 7.4
last option is to build a new server and use 8.x or see if it is possible to upgrade Apache on my 7.4 server to 2.2
