Problem: Issueing "flexbackup -toc" command as root returns an error that states the tape dose not have a table of contents and asks if I want to erase the tape.
Situation: I just performed a Tape Backup via the nightly backup routine in the server-manager. The log file says that all files where backed up and I see no errors in the log. I then login as "root" and execute the "flexbackup -toc" command with the same tape that was used to perform the backup and I get the error described above.
Computer Information: I am running and all IDE setup as follows:
hda=40 Gig Maxtor
hdb=Cd Rom
hdc=40 Gig Maxtor in Raid1 configuration
hdd=Seagate STT200000A 10/20 Gig tape backup
256MB Ram
hdparm disabled
Computer was recently re-formated with a fresh install of SME 5.1.2 and no hardware changes have been made since the install.
Anyone have any ideas why this would happen?
