Dansguardian - blocking other local networks
« on: October 27, 2009, 06:10:18 AM »
Hi
I have setup SME Server with Dansguardian for Web Filtering. I have a wireless router which assigns DHCP IP's to Wireless clients in a different Subnet to my main subnet. I have configured access to this network via the local networks panel on SME Server. The issue that I am facing is that I am unable to block or unblock specific IP's on the wireless subnet. I need to either block or unblock the entire subnet by allowing or blocking the WAN IP of the wireless router. Squid.conf shows all the networks correctly. Am i Missing something ?

Thanks

Is your AP configured to work as a bridge or is it doing NAT?
When you check /var/log/dansguardian/access.log or squid/access.log, do the clients show their IP or the access point IP?
