Squeezecenter has changed name (again!) - how to upgrade with yum?

I have squeezecenter installed and running as per the wiki via yum. When doing a yum upgrade I get a "No packages marked for Update" message. When I browse to http://repos.slimdevices.com/yum/squeezecenter/release/ I see that squeezecenter have now changes its name to squeezeboxserver.

My question is this: How do I upgrade squeezecenter when the name has changed? Is fresh install of squeezeboxserver the only way?

So far it seems the only way is an uninstall and re-install. It seems that some directory names have changed and the name of the service. See here: http://vortexbox.org/forum/help/logitech-changed-beta-pkg-name-to-squeezeboxserver-how-to-install/

Hello, are you sure about this? You are pointing to a voretexbox install routine dated august.. ? Reading this pointer on a SME forum seems a bit misplaced, but I can be wrong.
There are at least several people who have tried to update/install the squeezeboxserver contrib, with rather poor results. Most likely cause lies with some perl modules missing on the SME7.4

So far I know there is no real easy solution at this moment, but again I can be wrong.
So please enlight me..

I have squeezecenter 7.3 running on my SmeServer 7.4 box. If you follow the link to the repository in the initial post you will see the name of the rpm has changed to squeezeboxserver-7.4.11.noarch.rpm. That is the reason why yum does not pick it up. There may also be perl modules issues, but I am not there yet.

I do not know yum enough, but when I look inside the xml config files it looks as if there is instructions on how to switch from squeezecenter to squeezeboxserver. There is reference to squeezecenter being obsolete.

Does anyone know if there is a obsolete/supercede mechanism in yum and if so if SmeServer can handle it? In other words should it work?
