I think I would have gone into the log to see if there is something special that is trigging this activity. (I would gues that that there might be some unvanted traffic (??))

Only that in the httpd error log: DBD::mysql::st execute failed: Can't find file: 'hardware' (errno: 2) at /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.5/Apache/Ocsinventory.pm line 236.

Clearly you have software installed which is not on the SME server installation CD (and therefore your post is off-topic for this forum).

There is a bug in your Ocsinventory addon software. Either fix it or remove it.

Yes, CharlieBrady is right. I thought it might be some irregular traffic from the outside, but actually it is some irregular traffic from an "inside application. I googled a little and found this link: http://www.ocsinventory-ng.org/ I guess it is this... the troublemaker (??). Or possibly a more correct way to say it: The problem propably exist, due to a incorrect or incompatible installation, of this software.

Moving this topic to the SME 7.x contribs forum, it is more appropriate there. Thanks!
