8.0beta5 jigdo download fails
« on: December 07, 2009, 09:07:33 AM »
Been trying to download 8.0beta5 using jigdo for the last week, but keep getting the following error

Aaargh - 232 files could not be downloaded. This should not
happen! Depending on the problem, it may help to retry downloading
the missing files.

However, if all the files downloaded without errors and you
still get this message, it means that the files changed on the
server, so the image cannot be generated.

Press Return to retry downloading the missing files.
Press Ctrl-C to abort. (If you re-run jigdo-lite later, it will
resume from here, the downloaded data is not lost if you press
Ctrl-C now.)

Does anybody know if there is a problem with the jigdo template, I have re-downloaded both the jigdo and the template file, and still no joy.

Seems a little odd to be required to fill out a bug report for a broken ISO image download when my purpose was to first download the ISO image, burn it to a CD, and put it through its paces. I didn't even get to the point of having an ISO image to test.
:o :?
Ooh well, here's the bug report ID for a bugg3r3d  download

8.0beta5 does not exist yet. You are seeing a work in progress. Either try 8.0beta4, or wait for an announcement of beta5.
