M3's are OEM'd by Snom.  They don't have the same SIP stack as the other phones in the range (although I believe that the new M9 will).

You can just use generalSIP to set them up.

Thanks for the Help.
I set them up as normal Sip

They all regester  and have the same mac addres and ip ( this bieng the base stations)

Every phone has its own ID that i then confugre in Sark pannel 5000 to 5005
OI can dail the extentions but there is no sound  if i test dailing *55* then there is zip nada nothing.

If i do same  with soft phone its fine.

it looks like my snoms does not give controle over to the  Sark/sme box.

I see that at start up I get a Fatal error   lib/modules /2.6.9-89.016.el /weak- updates/ztdummy.ico invalidmodule format Fatal: module zaptel.

I'm running the http://les.net/sark/sark-sme-7.4-2.2.1-701.iso

Your RTP problem may be caused by an incorrectly set localnet parameter in SIP headers.  If not, then you will need to run tshark to see where the packets are going.

Clearly not - you have 2.6.9-89.016 kernel which is not the kernel on the .iso you mention.

You can't upgrade linux kernels without upgrading asterisk drivers.  I do not think that there will be a zaptel driver for the kernel you've installed, only DAHDI, but I could be wrong.

Kind Regards
