SiteX access issues
« on: December 09, 2009, 05:52:42 PM »
Hi,
I've been trying to setup a SiteX site on my server, everything is working fine save for one small detail.
The server will not display the sitex without loggin in as either root or admin from the standard authorisation box the browser pops up with..

Now, I don't want to give out my root password to anyone, and logically, there's no reason why it should do this.

Anyone else experiencing the same thing?

Hi scandragon,
I was have the same probem, and I solved it.
For set the public access on your sitex/smeserver, run these commands:

config setprop sitex PublicAccess global
expand-template /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf
sv h /service/httpd-e-smith

It's all !
