Hi there...

I've been searching and don't believe I've found the perfect answer yet so I'll ask.

A customer of mine has a Windows NT network with a PDC and BDC.  The network runs fine and supports about 65 username/passwords.

I'd like to drop an SME box into their system and have it use the existing usernames from the NT domain.  Is this possible?

The prime reason would be email and network storage for the users on the network.  I need this to be as seemless as possible.

What needs to be changed and what are the steps to doing it?

Go check out the docs on http://samba.org/ .   The Samba-HOWTO-Collection is nice.  For the most part, adapting an SME server is just a matter of editing the correct templates.
