Topic: I cannot conect to IBAY from internet

Hi,

I setup my server as stated in the docuentation, I setup users, groups  and IBAYS.
i can access my ibays from inside my network.

I cannot connect to them from the internet? Is there port or something that i must open?
I am using a http://www.domainname/ibay name to access from the internet - but it does not connect.
If i vpn to my network i can connect via IP adress

But i need to setup file sharing for customers, so they don't need VPN access to my network, they only need on drive

On SME Server you normally do not need to open ports. If there is a router in between your internet connection and your server you might need to forward some ports.

Furthermore you need to have your DNS entries to be properly configured to point your domain name to your IP number. From the amount of information you provide we can not say much more than this.

Did you allow internet access?

I got it sorted out.  Thanks guys
I had a clash of domains on my server.
removed one and it worked
