Topic: Need help with tape backup

Hi all,

We have installed SME Server 5.1.2 and have been running it successfully for the past few weeks. We have been able to back up our data to the tape backup drive until recently, when we try to access the tape options through the Web browser and goto update the settings the browser returns a Software Error and sais Error occured during conf-backup event. The tape drive is a Seagate Travan 20gb backup drive.

Any input would be appreciated

what type of error message are you receiving when the tape backup is meant to run?? Have you read the backup log ?
