Don't think SME Server itself applies any limit.
Any limitation would be dependant on CentOS and operational constraints (eg speed issues with increasing numbers of account accesses, etc), I think?

Thank you for your help

I want to deploy SME as mail server for about 350-400 users. So I want to know whether SME can handle the load. I read somewhere on net that SME server can support up to 500 users accounts, and some places says 150 to 250.

Any info will be much appreciated

Cheers

hi

the limit is the hardware ;-)
anyway, hundreds of users on a single server is not a wise idea; you should think about an HA solution.

Thanks again

well, I've just replaced 2 w2008 servers (one with exchange 2007) with a single SME server with Zarafa :)

but the users are.... 20

I repeat, users' limit is an hw limit (cpu, ram).. but I'd never put 300 users on a single server..

btw, the exchange you are talking about is  a single instance? with 400 users? no cluster? :)
