Hello

Thanks for replying. If I knew what I was doing or what I was talking about then I would be more "verbose".
But, if I knew what I was doing I would not be on this forum in the first place.

It reads from your reply that you may want more details.

What details?

Hello again.

The instructions I downloaded from Google do not suit the screen shots on this net2ftp. I can't get past the second page.

First are you the owner of the server or just have a ibay on the server?
If you are the owner of the server you have access to the root setup your remote access via ftp:winscp put your IP address then root then password for root and you will be in the server-root from there go to /home/e-smith/files/ibays/your IBay/html folder load your website.
My we all be so humbled, To ask the questions and get straight answers. Sooner than later. Thank You For Your Time

Thanks cvicc,

"First are you the owner of the server or just have a ibay on the server?"

I do not know what you mean. All I have is a web site which I need uploading woth net2ftp. I don't know what ibay is. Is it ebay's brother?

"If you are the owner of the server you have access to the root setup your remote access via ftp:winscp put your IP address then root then password for root and you will be in the server-root from there go to /home/e-smith/files/ibays/your IBay/html folder load your website."

I don't know what this root is - I thought it might be the site name. I don't know what winscp is either.
