Hi,
A vendor we deal with uses a Java based 3270 program, that also calls up a printer node.
Since we have started useing the ESmith box for NAT / Server Gateway, it no longer works.
The vendor says, assure port 443 is open.
When I nmap -sT the IP of the ESmith, it shows 443/tcp as open.
The error message that this vendor's app gives is "Can't connect to blah.blah.com:443 would you like to edit your proxy settings and retry? If you click on yes it brings up a window that allows you toe enter the proxy in the form of 10.58.48.XX:8080. In our case, I enter the 10.58.48.XX:3128
I also have Internet Expolorer set to connect through this proxy.
Any help greatly appreciated, thanks,
Dan
