i install roundcube via this tutorial: http://wiki.contribs.org/RoundCube
now i have http://192.168.1.5/roundcube/ location and give me erorr:

DATABASE ERROR: CONNECTION FAILED!
Unable to connect to the database!
Please contact your server-administrator.

on the same server i run horde default web acess....but is too old look...and i want give people something new

Are you sure you followed all steps? As the instructions are pretty straightforward and should work out of the box. If that is not the case, please do as advised at the end of the wiki page and raise a bug in the bugtracker: http://bugs.contribs.org . A direct link to launch a bug in the proper category can be found in the wiki article.

if you want something more than imp (mail module in horde), install dimp

That means your database didn't load, you can use phpmyadmin or load it manually, the .sql file is under the install directory.

If the contrib doesn't "just work", then you should report your problem via the bug tracker.

RoundCube works fine for me after having followed the description in the Wiki.

As far as I can tell, the version installed is 0.1.479svn, but according to the RoundCube web site (roundcube.net), the newest version is 0.3.1. Does anyone know if and how to upgrade?

ok...i work this steps:
yum --enablerepo=smecontribs install smeserver-roundcube
then i go here: http://servername/roundcube
and give message: DATABASE ERROR: CONNECTION FAILED!
Unable to connect to the database!
