PPTP VPN enable compression?
« on: May 11, 2010, 02:29:20 AM »
Everything is working fine, but i dont get any compression reported from windows xp. I use this to keep our mobile data use down as low as poss. All the info i can find seems to old, or refered to upgrading a package which seems like a bad idea. Is this something that we cant do?

According to this page you will explicitly have to specify this on the client:

Correct - MPPC is patented, and Red Hat doesn't have a patent license, and isn't prepared to challenge the vallidity of the patent.
