Logon Issue
« on: May 28, 2010, 11:07:56 AM »
Hi,
Whenever anyone logs onto to their account from a workstation - it takes absolutely ages to logon - sometimes 5 - 10 minutes. The server is set up as the domain controller and people can then logon to their account at any workstation. But why is it taking so long? Have I done something wrong?

this is a problem with roaming profiles.. if your Luser save gigabytes of trash in his documents folder or in his desktop you will suffer this kind of delay.

Hi,
i don't think even all our users have that much things in total?!

Although sometimes when logging off it does say that it cannot copy the roaming profile back to the server?
