I found this by the FAQ.

Samba trust relationships lost?
This is a possible bug with an upgrade from SME6. After an upgrade, local workstations cannot log in. If you are experiencing this problem, please have a look at this bug for a fix, and provide followup: [2]

You are just upgrading from sme6.x ?
That is so old now & I doubt anyone will spend time on this issue anymore.

Your easiest answer if none of the below bugs help, may be to just unjoin & then rejoin each workstation to the domain.

Thanks for your answer. I have not correctly the same problem, but I have updated the SME Server to version 7.5.
After this update I can`t login on the clients (Windows XP).

It appears a message ("SAS Window: logon.exe"), and in the system log, I found this entry:

I`ve tried all the workarounds of this page.
