Hi ,
i'm not so l33t at unix/linux ,
so i have a few probs with e-smith.
I can't run mirc , i've tried various settings.. but it won't work.
and the web-browsing ip masking won't seem to work.
i see my ip (from my @home connection)
can i mask my ip? i thought ipchains or something like that masked it??
or am i wrong :)

i hope somebody can help me :)

i run mIRC fine, maybe some more detail would be better? If you want your dcc sends to work you must connect to port 6667 of the irc server and no other.

as far as i know, you can't just 'mask' your ip without anything to mask it with, such as another proxy. IP Chains is a firewall, not an ip masker.
