I have just set up SME and all seems good except that I can no longer access my work e-mail page. When I try (http://mail.rosmini.school.nz), I get the following:

This web page is not available.

That link works fine for me. How are you trying to access the link ? inside or outside the network ?

You also say "I can no longer..." so what did you change (any new/different settings ?) before you couldn't access the link ?

Hi,

Before installing SME (ie no firewall or anything like that on my system), I could reach this site. Since SME is installed, I can't... I need to work out what ports the above might be trying to use and then discover how to open these in SME.

ok... it must have been a coincidence.. maybe the site was actually down at the time.... as I am in now...

The error message your report in your first post did suggest:

"might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address."

Yeah... I know... but its late this end ... also this site is very seldom offline.... but I will check next time

You can't. Only the administrator of the web site can.

This:

Error 111 (net::ERR_TUNNEL_CONNECTION_FAILED): Unknown error.

Is an error message from the software generating the page at the remote end.
