Dynamic Proxy 'misforms' sme-https-sites
« on: August 10, 2010, 10:44:00 AM »
Hi,

sail-2.5.1-14 ; sme-server only

After enabling dynamic proxy in globals, all https-sites on the sme-server, seen from the internal network, are misformed.

Maybe try placing the URL's in the "proxy ignore" list on the globals page..

I experienced this but didn't manage to fully identify the culprit but it did point to a sail template causing urls to be rejected by firefox as looping and never going  to complete and the url transposing to https://servername.domain/server-manager/server-manager/server-manager.........    substitute webmail for server-manager or any other https://servername/webmail/webmail/webmail  after a succesful login.  (either server-manager or webmail)  the webmail/webmail/webmail seemed to repeat to infinity or firefox url overflow.

place /webmail in the proxy ignore list.

There is an update on the way for this for 2.x releases which should do away with the need for proxy ignore altogether.

Kind Regards
