Hi All,

I has installing a new fresh server with SME 7.5.1.
And also install Zarafa application (according to : http://wiki.contribs.org/Zarafa )

Its all running okay,
access the zarafa from webaccess, sending email and its all running okay.

But, i can not receive any email.

what is the problem.


Sorry forgot to inform,
my SME server is inside the internet gateway (with firewall), here is the scheme :

--internet---internet gateway (firewall)---------------switch----- sme server + zarafa
                                                                             |
                                                                             |-------- client A
                                                                             |-------- client ..... Z

What did you choose ?

Yes I do read the direction according to http://wiki.contribs.org/Zarafa#Usage,

Like i said, i can send email and its delivered,

But i can not get the mail.

But, when i am check directly to our mail server (POP3) all email is still there.

its mean Zarafa can not pickup the mail from our mail server.

OK - then check the following:

/home/e-smith/files/users/<user-name>/Maildir/new

Do you have any files in that directory ?

Tell us more about your set up as well.

i check on the folder :

/home/e-smith/files/users/<user-name>/Maildir/new

and, it seem now files on that directory

Our installation step is:
(our case is : public domain name = domainname.com - which is hosted on other server)
- setup a new fresh sme server 7.5.1 with domain name: domainname.local
- created user it-officer on sme server
- and follow the instruction from : http://wiki.contribs.org/Zarafa to install the sarafa
- and created a user it-officer with email : it-officer@domainname.com with Zarafa Management
- and go to https://ipaddress/zarafa
- login as user : it-officer with pass:*****
- try to send email to a few address, ex: test@otheraddress.com
- the messages is send and received.
- and try to send email from test@otheraddress.com to it-officer@domainname.com
- the email is arrive to public domain address it-officer@domainname.com,
- but sme server with zarafa can not pickup the mail from "domainname.com"

please you direction ....

If I understand you correctly you say there are files in that directory (including recently received emails) if that is the case then you haven't followed the zarafa usage section correctly.  Please show the following:

db accounts show <user-name>

?

I am so sorry, its miss typing,

i mean there is no files on : /home/e-smith/files/users/it-officer/Maildir/new

[root@domainctrl ~]# db accounts show it-officer

your mail server is external? if so you should install smeserver-fetchmail and configure it accordingly to your needs.. AFAIK zarafa doesn't pick mail from external server
