Access to I-bay without password
« on: December 08, 2010, 06:20:01 PM »
Hallo everybody,

is there a way to access to an I-bay without password?
I want that some windows users read and write to an I-bay free.

Tks.

It seems pretty self explanatory to me, but here you go.
Modify your ibay and set the following:
Code: [Select]
Group => "Everyone" or the user group you allow access
User access via file sharing or user ftp => "Write = group, Read = group" or "Write group, Read = everyone"
Public access via web or anonymous ftp => "Entire Internet (no password require)" or Local network "(no password required)"

andrea: a 10 sec. search with "ibay guest" keys gave me this result.. (and many more)

cactus: that's not enough, a valid user is required

It is a good addition, but since OP not mentioned Guest usage I did not think of that and assumed he mentioned users in his domain (AKA known on SME Server).
