Topic: Internal Server Error

Since installing the iptraf.i386 update yesterday, I've noticed that I'm getting "Internal Server Error" when trying to access some functions, such as "Users", "Local Networks", "Reboot or shutdown" through the user-manager.  I've reconfigured and rebooted  via the system console, but the problem remains.

I notice that the messages log-file contains some error messages I haven't seen before (see below).  Could they be related?

The errors you see are known error messages.

I would retry and check the logs for new messages, but not this ones.

Check the logs from Apache: /var/log/httpd/error_log and /var/log/httpd/access_log

You will find the error messages related to the "Internal Server Error" in /var/log/httpd/admin_error_log. The error will not have been caused by updating iptraf.i386.

how did you upgrade iptraf?

did you enables any repo when you did the upgrade?

Thanks for looking guys.  There are messages in /var/log/httpd/admin_error_log as follows.  I did the iptraf.i386 update via the User Manager in the normal way without changing repositories.  I noticed the problem when doing the update, but it may have been there earlier.
