i've tried solution from http://bugs.contribs.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5221

but it didn't work.

You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem
You could try running: package-cleanup --problems
                        package-cleanup --dupes
                        rpm -Va --nofiles --nodigest

I need to contact the maintener of the upstream BackupPC package to fix this. For now, you can force the installation of BackupPC with rpm -Uvh --nodeps http://sme-mirror.firewall-services.com/releases/7/smecontribs/i386/RPMS/BackupPC-3.1.0-4.el4.noarch.rpm (you also need to install some needed perl-module)
C'est la fin du monde !!!

Moving to SME Server 8.x, please take care of posting in the best suited forum. Thanks in advance.

A long time after...  :D

You can force installation with manually setup.

Code: [Select]
wget http://repo.firewall-services.com/centos-testing/5/noarch/BackupPC-3.2.0-7.beta0.el5.fws.noarch.rpm
yum localinstall BackupPC-3.2.0-7.beta0.el5.fws.noarch.rpm

don't forget to install the Perl dependencies like perl-XML-RSS perl-Time-module* perl-File-RsyncP

Enable rpmforge repository and install it from this repository.

Code: [Select]
db yum_repositories set rpmforge repository \
BaseURL 'http://apt.sw.be/redhat/el5/en/$basearch/rpmforge' \
EnableGroups no \
Exclude freetype,htop,iptraf,rsync,syslinux \
GPGCheck yes \
GPGKey http://dag.wieers.com/packages/RPM-GPG-KEY.dag.txt \
Name 'RPMForge - EL5' \
Visible no \
status disabled
signal-event yum-modify

and

Code: [Select]
yum install --enablerepo=rpmforge perl-XML-RSS perl-Time-module* perl-File-RsyncP

Bye
