It seems that ipmasqadm wont work with e-smith 4.x, it works just fine with 3.x
does anyone know about this problem please let me know.

The e-smith server does not ship with ipmasqadm or portforwarding facilities. If you add them, you need to follow the customisation advice at http://www.e-smith.org/custom/. As
far as I know, there should be no difference between 3.1 and the 4.0 beta releases.
