Question on SME 7.5
 Upgraded computer to I5
 I do not see improvement 
 Replacement was performed
 Upgraded disk
 Computer's clipboard
 1G to 2G memory
 Do I need special actions to improve server
 Updated hardware
 Updated disk size
 My test   mainly for file sharing

It would help to know how you are testing your server's performance -- then we could perform the same tests on our systems and let you know if the results are the same as ours or different.

For example "when I copy a file of 1,000,000,000 bytes from an ibay mapped to the F: drive to my workstation's C: drive , it takes xx seconds; when I copy it back from C: to F: yy seconds".

(Note: the above is a guess at what you are trying to speed up, since I can't tell precisely from your post).

ok.. but.. what's the problem? how did you test the performances? are you using smp kernel?

People want to help you but you are not answering their questions. I think you are saying that you are having an issue with your network connection. How do you know this and how did you measure it?

We can't tell you what commands to use because we don't know what performance issue you are seeing.

Lower from the old server System Bogomips 7184.27

I see Bogomips 6387.67 System performance
Lower from the old server System Bogomips 7184.27

That number won't tell you anything about overall system performance. Ignore it.

In this particular case rpm -Uvh --force /root/intel1000/e1000e-1.1.19-1.i386.rpm
