Topic: Webshare on 8.0 beta 6

Was wondering if anyone has gotten Webshare to work on Sme 8.0 beta6?

I got it to install, and was able to create a webshare successfully.  However, when I try to add a user, I get the following error: 

Software error:
Error occurred while adding user user1. For help, please send mail to the webmaster (admin), giving this error message and the time and date of the error.

I completed the workaround as described here: http://forums.contribs.org/index.php/topic,46970.0/topicseen.html

However, still have same error.  Even though SME shows this error, the user and password is created
however, I'm not able to login to the share from the browser with the user and password I created.

Any help would be appreciated.

please search bugzilla: IIRC there should be already an open bug.
if not, please raise a bug and report here the bug id for future readers, thank you

Thanks for your reply.  I looked at bugzilla and reinstalled following some things that were suggested, but, it didn't work.  Because of time constraints I have, I just loaded SME 7.4 and installed WebShare and it works great with no tweaking. Thank you very much once again.
