Topic: 5.5 and name resolution problem?

Hi all,

I installed 5.5 fresh and most things that didn't work as expected I've been able to solve. I just came across a small problem here. In my mail clients I use mail.domain.net for pointing to the mailserver it worked fine under 5.1.2. but now I can only access the server using its IP number.

The solution escapes me at the moment and I would appreciate any help on this.

Doh!

I made a mistake allright, I put the server IP right smack in the middle of the dhcp IP range! Changed the range to exclude it and it works fine now.
