Problem when joining domain from other subnets
« on: May 20, 2011, 11:38:23 AM »
Hi,

When running SME Server 7.4 on a network with several router-connected networks,  I can join Windows XP clients to the domain when they are on the same physical network as the server, but not on the different physical networks. If I temporarily switch a client to the same subnet as the server, I can join the domain without problems, and then after switching it back to its proper subnet and IP address everything works, people can sign on to the network, access resources, etc.  So is it only the domain joining piece that's not working ? How to solve this problem ?

Many thanks,
thabeo
