is there another e-smith-mgetty-sendfax rpm available for sme 5.5?
-i tried the e-smith-mgetty-sendfax-0.0.1-07.noarch.rpm  from CharlyBrady but got errors...

What was the error message and why are you installing this rpm? (If it's for faxing I don't think it's required.)

-i had dependency errors
-then i used the update manager and the installation worked (tricky sequence)
-i read an article http://linux.made-to-order.net/article146.html  
"Installing these RPMs on a 5.1.2 server will give you outgoing fax capability."
i hoped the configuration for the fax-server would be easier than hylafax
with the server-manager support...
-unfortunately is not that like that

Hi Alec,
I'm rapping up a Hylfax server upgrade this week.  It's a  WHOLE lotta work.  But once it's complete, you can close the door on it and sleep nights...
