Topic: pop3 email via SME (w/SpamAssasin & ClamAV checks) ?

Greetings -

I'm somewhat new to SME and still learning; running 7.5.1 - I have done several searches and feel like I'm going in circles.

What I would like is the ability to download email from external pop3 accounts, pass the mail thru Clamav & SpamAssassin, and then direct it to the appropriate user (using outlook + imap).

I found what I thought would be the solution: getmail and dungog-getmail, but I can't seem to locate the software in smecontribs.

I have installed Fetchmail (have not started to use it yet), as it isn't clear if mail downloaded from a pop3 account will be sent through ClamAV and SpamAssassin.

mail passing through fetchmail should be scanned with spamassassin and clamav. (ref http://bugs.contribs.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2223)
