Hi,

Is there a way of moving one iBay from the /home/e-smith/files... structures to the /media/... for an external USB drive?

I need to access an external hard drive that I can dock (with a BlacX docking station) onto the sme server. I will take care of the mounting and unmounting.

Probably best to look at http://wiki.contribs.org/AddExtraHardDisk where there are instructions for mounting external disk on an ibay or using sym links.

you can also have a look at  : http://wiki.contribs.org/Disk_Manager

this will automount your drive to you ibay if you want.
