Topic: Backup users home folders to Windows

Hi,

I need to backup the users home folders from 2 * SME servers to a Windows PC, do not need to backup the complete server config as I am unable to restore only one or two files. Is this possible and how - I am a Windows user.

Hi,

Installed contrib and backup is happening to Windows workstation.  I do not see a way to restore a single file to the SME server.  Am I doing something wrong, docs only discuss full restore to new server?

We only need a single file from a shared folder or users home directory to be restored.

not readable by windows but you can copy the file using mc to a windows share & suitably change ownership & permissions as necessary
