I know this is a long shot but does anyone have any advise on how to get this setup working?

Have you tried and had problems with this config or are you just considering it as an option ?

Kind Regards

Hi.

Yes, I have tried but hit a few problems.  First that there seems to be errors reported saying it cannot install the dahdi-firmware dependency.  Second is I am not getting the web page once I have installed SAIL.  But that is all ancillary to be honest as my intention was to follow you HA guide but I cannot find the downloads for that.

I have a pair of SARK 1200 boxes in HA mode at work that you configured for me earlier in the year with another one about to be ordered and I just wanted to set up a similar platform in my lab environment to get a better understanding and to test the possibility of having a SARK or SAIL HA slave running on a remote VMware box.  And installing on all the latest versions was just further curiosity again ;)

Hi Phill

V3 HA is not quite packaged yet (although we've put the documentation up).  We should be producing early isos in the next week or two.  As soon as they are ready I'll send you the url.   It uses Asterisk 1.4.36 in the initial out but 1.6/1.8 should also work.  We've done a fair bit of testing (at least as far as HA and the new asha component is concerned) in a virtual machine so you should be fine to test in that environment to see how it all works.

Incidentally, if anyone else would like to test V3 HA (it is ubercool) then drop us a line at admin@aelintra.com and we'll put you on the list

You can read about it here
