The contrib is marked as not working. Does anybody have this contrib working an SME8?

Thanks for any reply.

Best,

The Wikis then need updating. Did you do anything special to get it working?

Well, I don´t see in the wiki any mention that it does not work on SME8, all I did was enable the SME7 repo and installed:
Code: [Select]
[root@sme8 ~]# rpm -qa | grep fax
hylafax-4.4.4-1.el4.sme
smeserver-hylafax-0.9-6.el4.sme

Hylafax is listed under the heading "Not Working" refer: http://wiki.contribs.org/SME8.0_Contribs_QA . I have made a note with a link to this topic.
In passing, there are a number of Bugs in the documentation section of Bugzilla waiting to be processed, anyone available to give a hand?
Thanks.

Thanks, have a look here:
http://bugs.contribs.org/bugs/buglist.cgi?action=wrap&f1=bug_status&o1=notequals&v1=CLOSED&product=SME%20Server%20Documentation&bug_status=CONFIRMED&list_id=7485

There are over 30 bugs requiring processing.
You would need to be a member of the documentation team, please apply (docteam).
There are many members of this group, but little activity in recent times.  Sad...

PS: Access to individual bugs from Matrix using link above is broken at the moment, should be fixed soon.

Hi purvis,

I have several installations, one of the most commonly used hardware is from Multitech, I had success with both the internal PCI and the serial modems.

I can test it on my environment tomorrow, using a PCI modem.
