Auto-reply but not vacation
« on: April 29, 2012, 06:45:06 AM »
Hi,

I'd like to do an auto-reply but it's not a user vacation.

The reply is based on the from, to and the sender.

In the forums, there quite a entries about the vacation and a couple about using the sort but I don't want to forward the mail, I want to send an ascii text file reply to the sender.

Any suggestion?

Thanks

Will using procmail "screw-up" something else on the SME server?

Thanks

Procmail (process mail) rules only affect or act upon mail delivered to user accounts on SME server, so you need to configure to use IMAP.
IIRC install smeserver-mailsorting & then configure rules for individual users.
IIRC you also need to install the user manager contrib smeserver-userpanel
