Hi, i am using SME 7.5.1. with two LAN-cards. One for the external internet connection and one for the internal LAN.
Is there any way to measure the download speed of my internet connection on the external LAN-card?

yes..

get the url for an iso image from a site "near" to you, then, from the root's shell

at the end you get the average speed.. if you want to monitor in real time, open anoter shell and use iptraf
