Topic: My client Windows XP has no default gateway and no internet acces

I Have configure my SME server it is working But i have problem with Clinet workstation.
My client Windows Xp workstation has no acces to internet. and dont have defultgetway.

When i check ipconfig /all

it shows other ipadres then my localnetwork.

I m using this on Wireless laptop on virtual machine

SME Server is
192.168.1.200
255.255.255.0
Server gateway> dedicated>
Swapped> 2.option in DHCP>
Next>
On DHCP>
192.168.1.50-100>
No DNS

i reboot my SME server I checked internet connection Test is sussecfull.

But when i login to my clinet windows xp machine to check for if my clinet has internet access or  DHCP.
But it is not working.

I see a different ip-adress and i dont see any defultgetway or internet access
i see this ipadres
192.168.33.133
255.255.255.0

SME server networkcard> Bridge en Host
Windwos Xp networkcard>Host

Sorry to be less than helpful, but here are a couple of items:
1. It's unlikely that you will get any emails, as assistance given in that way would then be unavailable to other forum readers in the future. So expect to be checking back regularly and supplying more information when requested to do so.
2. Your habit of posting each question in every forum is VERY annoying and you should stop doing that immediately. This would be in your own self-interest, as you're much more likely to get help if you follow established procedures and forum etiquette.

As for your actual issue, you're using SME in a nonstandard way and thus it's going to be difficult to assist you. What exactly are you trying to accomplish? Is this "client windows xp" another virtual machine on the laptop, or a physical machine?

Moving to general discussions, this is not a standard configuration for SME, refer Manuals....
Also please refrain from multiple posts across the Forums. All dups have been removed.

Your problems is a simple understandig of vmware network configuration.

Start reading about networking and later about it on VMware and understand why you need to put both machines (xp and sme server ) on same network.

This is not an sme problem, it's a network misconfiguration.
