Additional networks

I work for a public school system and have just installed 5.1.  I have a different network for each building and we are connected with T1 lines through a router.  I am trying to use E-smith as a proxy server in order to filter for the district but I can't use it with anything connected through the router.  I am assuming that I need to add additional networks into the configuration so it will recognize the different buildings.  They get Access Denied from the e-smith when they try to go to the internet.  They get to the server but don't have permission.  The only thing I could find about additional networks was that it was possible and I should contact Mitel.  Help!

5.5 is the most current release, and includes bug and security fixes not found in 5.1 default installs.

Have you read the fine manual?

I had a similar problem, trying to use SME V5.5 as a proxy server for three subnets on a WAN. I had to manualy add the routes using: "route add -net 192.w.x.0 netmask 255.255.255.0 gw 192.d.e.f metric 1 eth0" for each of the non-local networks. This enabled the remote networks to use the SME server as a proxy etc to the internet.

What I need to know is: How can I configure the server to automatically add these routes at boot time so that I do not need to manually enter them each time I restart the server?

  Thanks,
   Ian
