Topic: Future of SME/Contribs

Following this post http://lists.contribs.org/pipermail/devinfo/2013-January/011165.html on the development mailing list it has raised various issues regarding the future of SME/Contribs.

The lists are generally considered to be the better place to hold the conversation and it will be much better to keep it all in one place, so please don't add to this post.

If you care about your distro, and its future, then please join in. Now is not the time to sit back and hope the problem will go away, or be fixed by someone else. Don't leave voicing your opinion until too late.
