Hi - pretty much in the title really - anyone currently using any providers they can recommend in the UK?

Hi - thanks for getting back to me!

Its an architects office and there is about 1GB of data and then daily increments which are hard to put a figure on.

Sometimes there are a small amount of edits to existing drawings, sometimes they go out on site and add a load of .jpg photos.

Was thinking of setting up another server in remote office and rsync the changes overnight

Hi,

I was thinking about a Virtual Private server loaded with SME providing you between 20 and 120Gb of storage. That way you are in full control.

Sorry, my bad its actually 1TB of data!!! A lot of it hardly ever changes and they already have removable caddy for offsite but also want to be able to retrieve from yesterday in case of file corruption. Some drawings are 50MB and can end up mangled sometimes saving back to server. Thanks all the same.

In that case you should check setting up a server in another office and using affa.

(I was already wondering about 1Gb of data in an architects office ;-) )
