Topic: Rebuild LDAP database

hi,
my slapd cant start because database failed.
I search already in forum and bugzilla but did not find a solution for SME 8.

I found /etc/e-smith/events/actions/ldap-contacts-rebuild is there something similar in sme 8?

thats my problem I dont know what happened.

Yes I have a Backup but it is 6 months old.
We have some newer backup but it looks like we cant get them to run (Acronis vmprotect).

read carefully the man page and try with
/usr/sbin/slapd_db_recover

regarding backup.. you now know that you must change approach.. use, if possible, the standard backup feature.
