Means to me, the disk is o.k. Will now overwrite the MBR with
dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/sdb bs=512 count=1
and then destroy any data/partition with gparted. 
Next step then would be to put the disk back in the server and add it via admin-menu to the RAID. We'll see what happens.
